Cleaning Your Glitter Gunz™ Coating

• Always ensure through visual and physical inspections that the firearm is clear of ammunition before cleaning.

​

• Do not use harsh solvents, ultrasonic cleaners, acetone, cleaners containing harsh acids or bases, lacquer or paint thinner, mineral spirits, or similar. If in doubt, please contact us at (567) 712-6836 or email us at glitter@glittergunz.com.

• Use a soft toothbrush on the Glitter Gunz™ coating.

​

• Non-chlorinated brake cleaner may be used periodically for heavy dirt and residue buildup on the Glitter Gunz™ coating. It can be sprayed directly on the surface, brush with a soft toothbrush, and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth. Be sure to use in a well-ventilated area and follow the safety guidelines and instructions on the can.​​

Our Guarantee

Glitter Gunz™ guarantees that our coating will not crack or fade.  You might notice a flake or two of the glitter when the product is brand new. This is not abnormal and does not diminish the quality of the finish. This will lessen with use and is not a defect that is covered under our guarantee.  The pigment is sealed and does not require any further coating to protect it.

Our guarantee does not cover wear and tear to the finish. Using any firearm or accessory subjects it to the environment where friction cannot be avoided which will cause wear and tear.​
